Yep, same as Larrymac and Flyct, I went with the Ford chrome bug shield, very nice quality piece. Had a Stampede one that I didn't care for, left the front top edge of hood exposed.

I can’t find it with shipping for less than $53. Anyone know if the parts department at the local Ford Dealer charges for shipping on items like this.

So I get a tooth pulled this a.m., in the little town of Fuquay-Varina, NC population 26K, which happens to have a Ford Dealership. I head over, show the parts guy the picture/part # I saved on my iPad, he states "99.9% chance we don't have that" he bangs on his keyboard disappears and returns with a long box... the rest is history.

Looks great! Just a natural choice as it just looks like it’s the final
piece of the front.

Hood Protector

WEIW:

I made the choice between a Winshield Deflector and the stick-on "Deflector", when I picked up my Wheelhouse Liners (HC3Z 16F099)....today.

Both were $89.00.
Wheelhouse Liners were $136.00.

Both deflectors came in black to match my truck (2018 SD STX).

I looked at both that were on other trucks on the lot.

I went with the stick-on hood "Deflector":
(VHC3Z 16C900C)

I go get the Deflector tomorrow.

How was the fit on this? Do you have any issues with it rubbing on the paint or is there something to protect that from happening?

Yep,

Measure and Mark the centers of the deflector and hood with blue (easy-pull) tape so the deflector comes out exactly even on both sides...

Once it's on, it's ON!

It lays almost flat on the front of the hood...it tapes on and so far no rubbing that I can detect.
