Mass Air conversion for dummies??
I have a 1992 F250, 2wd, reg cab longbox. it came from the factory with a 351W, E4od, and a speed density system. Two of those pieces are gone, and maybe, the speed density needs to go as well. The truck is undergoing quite a bit of work, and that includes a much more aggressive 351W, (9.75 to 1 compression, a lot of head porting, a healthy cam, headers, etc) and a ZF5 transmission.
I have no donor truck to pull a mass air system out of, and i fully understand that my ECM from the original truck wont work, so I'm thinking right now may be a good time to start fresh, and look at this Mass Air conversion setup. I understand ford used to make a setup, but doesn't anymore. Some say you can build a harness, but i have yet to see any plans. I'm looking for someone with much more experience in this than I have to say "hey, look at this, do it this way!" so I can make a educated move towards a mass air system in my truck.
Thank you for your time, everyone.

I used some spare wires from a salvaged harness to create a stand alone injector/engine harness that plugged in, but most will tell you to just add/build an overlay like the Motorsports harness.
Use the old ford fuel injection info with whatever ETV diagrams you can find to make up your own build plan.
I'm guessing you'll have to go with at least a 94 5.0 ecu unless you can find a Cali spec 5.8
Most say that an auto ecu will work just as well as a manual ecu.
Hope this is a start for you:
