PLEASE HELP 2002 Ford expedition eddie bauer

Straight to the point, my mom has had her battery drain constantly after one day. I did the parasitic draw test and the meter read 12.63 which was the same volts as the battery. I then disconnected the alternator still 12.63. I followed the negative terminal to the solenoid I unscrewed the two nuts and one went to the starter the other one went up into where the windshield wipers are. I unplugged the one going to the windshield wipers and the voltage dropped. I pulled all the fuses under the dash and still didnt have a drop. Where does this go to and any ideas will be grateful. This is for my mom and she is going through it.

The parasitic draw is not tested using volts. The 12V from the battery is always there. You have to test with an amp meter in series with the wiring. The wire you have circled is what activates the ignition relay (also called solenoid), this is what sends power to the starter.

Very common parasitic draw issue is the rear wiper. Pull the fuse for that.

@Trux thank you plenty for explaining this. I was able to fix the meter and find that the alternator was drawing the most. I pulled the alternator and had it tested it was bad. I changed it and this morning the battery was full like it was supposed to be thank you all for your help. I will keep the wiper issue in mind.
