p.s. It's a 2004 6.0 with all mods. 123K. Studded heads, EGR delete, external coolant filter, oil changed every 5K, fuel filters every 20k, trans every 60k with synthetic
Diffs changed at 100k. All Ford parts. Owned by a master mechanic that did his own work. Some rust starting on corners of cab.

You don't want the 5th wheel or the truck to be nose up? For the truck it depends on how it is lifted, if it is sitting level unloaded then yes it will be nose up when you hook the 5th wheel to it, unless you add airbags or lift it some more in the rear. The 5th wheel will probably sit high in the front also.

Depends on which 5er you'll be towing. My guess is the rear end of the truck will squat 2-4" and the 5er will be nose high if you try to limit truck squat with bags, etc. So I'd expect the truck to be nose high and the 5er too. That is why I haven't leveled my truck. I get 3" of squat which levels my truck while towing my 5er with a 3k pin weight.

why would it matter if Ford did the lift or not? Also depending on the lift, springs, and tires it can actually improve stability over stock. The main reason not to tow a 5th wheel with a lifted truck is the trailer will sit high in the front, unless it has some type of lift or adjustable suspension.

Obviously Ford dealers and the technicians working there know everything about the truck and always get things right....
