Red's modern headers for a 53 F100 flathead V8?

It seems this company makes very good fitting headers. I'm close to putting the flathead into my 53 f100 and i want to go dual exhaust.
I'm thinking the 53 f100 modern kit, pair of extensions and a pair of smithy mufflers from Red's. All i'll need then are tail pipes. My drive train will be stock so i'm hoping that this will fit,
Anyone have experience with a similar setup?

I don't know what you mean by "modern"? Got a link to them?

I did Red's with extensions and Smithy's, on my 52 (which is different than a 53's) and it bolted in just fine, sounds good.

I used the Bob Drake Headers with the Red's extensions on my '53. I think that the Bob Drake Headers are a copy of the Red's.
This combination clears the stock steering box. The Red's extensions have just the right bend to clear the box.
I think Red's has a long tube header set also.

Link for the Red's extensions.

Here is a link for the short headers offered by Bob Drake.

Long-tube headers are usually not a benefit on flatheads, but then neither are the "regular" Red's headers. I can't say I've ever heard a street engine with the long-tubes, don't know what they sound like.

I think i'll call them. I'm not looking for anything other than a sweet sounding dual exhaust.
