Weird question,
I am a picture guy. Anyone of an exploded view of the engine and engine bay showing parts and part numbers? My manual doesn't have one. Anyone have a better manual they recommend? I picked this one up.

What you're describing most closely resembles the Ford Chassis Parts Manual, which was used by the parts department counter guys to find replacement parts for our trucks when they were new(er) and in service. It will have exploded views of all the assemblies, engines, transmissions, chassis, steering, axles, etc. You can find original catalogs used on ebay, but they're typically not cheap. The info is also available on CD format much cheaper. Here's a link to one...
