Cool or lame?

My first thought was Lame, but since you work at Mack, it changes the equation.
I would agree with Ross and something like he suggested would be better and that might look better somewhere else.
The important thing, is do you like it there? Since you asked the question, I'm thinking you don't quite like it as much as you thought you would.

Hey Nick,
I like the idea of flying your colors on your truck... personalized just the way you like it.
I'd lean toward a bumper sticker or emblem.... just saying.... that thing looks like it could hurt.
Love your truck, love that you are back in Pa., & you are still with Mrs. Nick.

Not for me, but really if you like it that is all that matters. I would save that for if I was building a Mack rat rod. I put the traditional Hurst white ball shift **** in mine, throwback to my muscle cars. White hurst shifter ball back in the day meant you had the good stuff! Plus while driving the F1 tonight in traffic I realized how many shifts I make with the 4:10 rear gear, I dont think my hand could take an uncomfortable handle. Give it a shot.

I think it shows personality and is cool. If weight is an issue could you or someone with access to machining tools hollow out some of the un needed metal. Done properly I don't think an opening on the dogs belly would look bad at all. I say go for it. I mean you could always take it off for the "Pebble Beach" shows if your worried about loosing a couple of points, right!
