We will see. Our F150 is the 3.5 eco so I think it may help with keeping the valves clean.
One of the items is the max blast intake valve cleaner. Directions call for a warm engine, then disconnect the air cleaner intake so you spray downstream of all the sensors.
For this to work it says to run the motor while spraying to clean those valves.
I have used some of these things in the past to clean the throttle bodies and they did well, but nothing for the intake valves.

On a direct injection motor you need to use an intake vacuum line and a product specifically designed for valve cleaning (like CRC products). I think you spray it in with short bursts until the can is empty...allow the engine to sit for a while....then go for a drive. Anything added to the tank won't hit the valves. As for turbo risks, I have no idea about that.

I have no idea about Royal Purple products specifically, never used them. But once per year when I'm going to take a long trip I'll add some Seafoam or Star Tron, etc. to the tank at fill up and run it way down so I don't dilute it with another fill up. I have no idea if it actually helps but it seems to do no harm so why not? I also believe in moderation- once per yr is fine for me. I see no need to add over and over, our gas simply isn't that bad.

Something you can do that does work is to use Top Tier gasoline. You're pissing in the wind using fuel that leaves deposits then later trying to remove the deposits with questionable products.
