How have there been no serious leaks?
With all the excitement surrounding the Bronco you would think we would have seen more than just an Everest driving around a couple times and that sheet under a sheet thing Ford did. Other than the 2.7 and 7spd manual has there been anything else even remotely leaked? Driving me crazy! Every time I see a new post in this forum I’m super hopeful we are getting a taste of something but nope! Usually just someone complaining how bad that non Ford render looks lol. NAIAS can’t come soon enough and I really really hope we get everything we want there!

Of all the car makers, Ford seems to have the best luck keeping a secret. And when they say a 2020 model, they mean January of 2020, not the fall of 2019. This opinion has proven itself true over the last 10 years of new model releases.
The 2019 Ranger is slated for 01-2019 though the staging yards are likely full of them by now.

dont hold your breath, looks like theres a line of models ahead of the bronco: gt500, explorer, f150, superduty. doesnt look like detroit auto show though i think it would be a good way to take sales away from wranglers. unless its a total dud and doesnt compete with the wrangler then wait as long as possible
i have a feeling they were going the everest way then reconsidered and are trying to come up with a wrangler fighter that i think wont cut it. removable doors and top is the key

wonder how well they kept the raptor a secret? i really wasnt paying attention and then one day i saw one. not sure if it was leaking all over the internet or not. my money is the bronco will not be revealed in detroit. at the la show they went out of their way to say the gt500 will be revealed in january. if anything i can see a real reveal of the baby bronco that leaked last month. it would be nice if they would reveal all the new models but i think they dont want to blow their whole load in jan. february is the chicago auto show, not sure whats after that but prolly one big reveal per show

I honestly think most OEMs, and especially Ford, only run mules outside their private proving grounds when they want “secret spy photos” to be taken. It’s not a surprise, it’s a photo op. Free marketing. And more than once I’ve gotten the sense that “surprise photo op” is actually prearranged.
If Tseekins is right and the Broncos won’t hit dealerships until early 2020, then it’s still early for mules on the roads. If Ford holds to its normal formula, they’ll slowly trickle information out in 2019. First the design, then the powerplant(s), then the trim levels, then the efficiency ratings...
