aftermarket tach

1996 7,5L E350 : NO OBDII .....

I want to install an aftermarket tachometer ...wich coil wire gives the proper signal ( W/PK = Ign diagnostic or T/Y = ign coil )

I search all over the forum ,,,,In the old days it was - negative coil side , but on this not sure the coil has 6 wires ....
thanks
Dan

For the sake of others in the future : 96 E350 460 , the Tan/Yellow wire that goes from the coil plug to the ICM is the wire that sends the signal to the tachometer ....did it ,it works !

thanks for nothing ,
Dan
