Knowing that 6.2L/4.30 combos are rare as hens teeth on the Ford dealer lot, means that finding one used is ever more rare; because anyone that actually gets that combo will NEVER want to give it up.

LoriMeyer, I have a 2015 F250 4x4 and have not touched suspension with 3.73's and I haul up to 16-18 K on a gooseneck (farm equipment) and it has never left me wanting more suspension or power wise...… I am very satisfied with my set up...

Now for grins I recently bought SCT X4 tuner from 5star and wow what a difference just in the 87 performance/tow tune was crazy..... I haven't used it without a trailer on but I am about to next couple days.... anyways back on point I will say my 250 hauls the load no problem...… I am at 135K miles and springs are doing great..... good luck in your search.....

That's the most I have read about while towing with the 6.2L period. Very impressive to say the least and with the 3.73's to boot...

How much was the tuner? I have been considering one since I went to a larger tire.

you haul 16-18k with an F250 6.2? That gives me hope but if I found an F350 6.2, I would be thrilled. Not sure it would handle my 14k 5er but if you're not having a problem, there's hope for the rest of us.

I'm interested in more info on the tuner, as well. And how difficult it was to make changes. Anybody know if doing this voids your warranty?

I'd like to be able to change 'modes' on my 6.2L F350 DRW. For an easy, unloaded cruise, something mild. For hauling the TC and trailer, something more aggressive.

Yes, it voids your warranty.

These tunes are deceptive; making your truck feel more powerful. But, it is through a trick of making your throttle pedal movement more aggressive in applying throttle. Actual, real power increases are minimal (non-turbo engines).

I second that, try a pedal commander. Won't void your warranty.

They aren't quite as good as a tuner though. The tuner will allow full throttle at a much lower rpm than the commander will. Stock programming will not let you get full throttle until a high rpm, not sure what it is but I think around 4000 rpm, even if you mash it to the floor
