1996 E350 , 460 ( 7,5L ) , E4OD ,the cruise control is acting wrong .....

when engaged , it keeps on accelerating ,then decelerate ,, downshifts in 3rd , then up in OD .....
I have to say that the speedometer fluctuates from 50-70 mph when driving at 60 ......
ABS light on ,
I did, some search : removed the speed sensor all clean no metal debris , I read about psom and rabs ,,,,,
any idea what to check or look for

I bought the service manual .....
but cant see what to check .....
anyone had this before ?

Might replace the speed sensor in the rearend. Get a new Motorcraft sensor, the aftermarket units are crap and will fluctuate up and down 5 mph with the cruise on.
