Looking at a 2005 F250 XLT

I'm looking at buying a 2005 F250 XLT with a 6.0 and 75K miles, etc. This will be used as a work truck.

Never owning a diesel before, what should I look for, be aware of, etc before I buy this truck.

Euroman is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
You need to go to the 6.0 forum and read the tech folder, all information you need there. I took a few days to go through it before buying mine.

Consider something other than a unknown 6.0 if its going to be a truck you make money with. These are great engines but they require perfect maintenance and service upgrades that can cost thousands to complete and serious downtime.
