AOD on a non AOD Bronco?

Has there ever been any sucessful attempts at installing a non electronic AOD into a Bronco? that OD gear sure would be nice to up the MPG even more!!!

let me know of the specifics.

you can put a AOD in woth no problems, but your gona have to get TV cable set, cause you cant run the AOD with out it. DW

TV cable set? please excuse my ignorance....as I am inundated with elliptical,
polar and parametric equations and integrals right now....the brain can only
do so much!!!

AOD on a non AOD Bronco?

T.V. stands for Throttle Valve. It is what tells the transmision how much gas you are giving the engine. It is not a kick down lever. You can run a C-4 OR C-6 without a kick down lever but you cant run an AOD without the T.V. cable attached and the Throttle Valve Pressure set properly, or it will burn up in 2 or 3 miles.

Or at least thats what I understand
