59 truck value

Thoughts on what this truck is actually worth? Sounds like 350 Chevy that needs to be replaced or rebuilt, TH350 Chevy trans, non original column, hole cut in dash, possible wiring mess, lower rust issues. Not sure what bed floor looks like. Bout 8hr round trip. Looks like lots of good parts at minimum. Any thoughts on a good price? The $2500 seems high to me

There is a Facebook site dedicated to these trucks and there are often what seem like good deals there.

I paid $4k for my 59 with a 60 front clip locally, but it was an Oklahoma truck with minimal rust, a running 302 /C4, and new brakes and kingpins, and a box full of reproduction rubber.

I passed on a running 59 with a 351, but more rust for $2500 the week before.

Price is pretty much a local issue, determined by condition relative to other old trucks in your area, and supply.
