Ceramic Tint?

Searched for a post but didn’t see one.
I was told about ceramic tint and it’s capabilities. I’ve watched some YouTube videos and it seems to be the best you can put on to reduce the heat that enters your truck. I live in houston so it’s very much needed. They also mentioned a clear ceramic that can be put on the windshield too.

Anyone had this done? What brand was used?

Thanks in advance.

A must. I live in DFW area, the new ceramic tint is mandatory for us down here (Houston is probably worse). You get a ton of heat deflection. Currently have Lumar on my SD and the wife’s car. We did the windshield and the sunroof in both, as well as all windows: it’s Night and day when driving west into an afternoon sun in the dead of summer. Worth every penny.

We did get it done after all. Your exactly right. It is night and day from regular tint. We got the windshield and all windows but forgot the sunroof. We had Texas tint world do ours and wasn’t sure of the brand but I will check that out and update.

Had ours done Executive Tint on 1960. Got the Blackmax Ceramic and absolutely love it.
Our 18 crewcab was $300 out the door. Lifetime warranty.
This is the 7th vehicle we have had done by them and would not consider anyone else.

I was hesitant to get ceramic tint when I was initially told that it could cause severe interior reflections
causing it to be hard to see at night....I went ahead and got it anyway and have not had any issues
with reflection at night and it has been excellent tinting for all purposes.

Do you guys tint the entire windshield? Or just from the roofline to the AS1 line?
