Should have painted rocker lip red live and learn. Took wheels off black truck and painted them. Paint was some rustoleome I had left over from some other project, growing on me I think silver would look good too. Really want the u.s mags Indy slot mags but at $225 a per wheel that would have to wait.

Nice looking build man! I glad you decided to use those camper special mirrors, I've been trying to find a set for mine.

Worked on passenger door this weekend, last thing I have to paint. Just about ready for paint, had to replace bottom of door turned out ok. I warped door skin welding not perfect but no rust. Will be glad to be finished with paint.

Awesome build thread. Question on the Raptor liner. Did you have any trouble getting tape to stick to it when you was masking it off for paint? I did a few restos were we used Dupli Color bedliner on the floors and absolutely could not get anykind of tape to stick to it when masking the door openings off. The Dupli Color is a water borne bedliner it drys by evaporation and I know the Raptor is a 2 part. The Dupli Color never really seemed to set up hard and seems to me to be a glorified undercoating. Boss liked so thats what we used.

Raptor liner is great stuff two part urethane sets up fast and dry to touch in a hour. I wiped it with acetone before tapping it, tape held with no problems. You do need to be well ventilated and where proper respirator.

I made the mistake of using rustoleum undercoat on my cab floor, six months later I'm leaving black footprints for the first 20 feet after I get out. I'll be using Raptor liner after seeing your build. Looks great on the inner fenders and firewall too.

Installed hood, took some time to get it some what aligned not perfect but it will shut. Also received some hub caps, what do you think leave them on or take them off ?
