truck master parts list mystery

truck master parts list mystery
I am looking for a part number for a warn out piece on my transmission and seem to have hit a wall. What do you do when you can find the part in the illustration section but not in the parts list section? The part is there, but there is no part number for my particular transmission. The illustration is section 70.5 page 8. The group number is 7410.
When you goto the parts list, (for a Clark 285) there is a couple version of the part, but neither is marked for my trans. 70.9 page 12, "Arm, gear shift rocker, low and reverse". If I am reading it right, my parts should be in the J column???? What do you do when there is nothing listed? I have the part in hand and there is a length listed for the other available versions. Do I just measure and hope for the best? I am getting better at finding part numbers (it usually takes me only an hour or so, which is down from two to three days lol) but this kind of dead end makes it difficult.
Thanks for any help,

Thanks ND!
Since I could not arrive at the same information as you did, can I ask how you got to section 73 for the part number?
Was I at least on the right track using the method that got me to section 70.9? I would certainly be buying a lot of incorrect rare parts if not for your help, thank you very much for your time and effort, it is greatly appreciated.

This is like reading a treasure map with 7000 or so pages. lol. When you think about the fact that I am only searching in the "truck" portion of the list as apposed to all the vehicle models available for these years, one begins to understand the magnitude of information and parts needed to build a car or truck.
