Wondering what folks would do if they are looking to spend between $1,000 and $2,500 to bullet proof or increase performance? Truck only has 65,000 on it so not ready to delete yet, have a bypass oil filter, additional fuel / water separator and Mishi cold side intercooler pipe. It's a '13 6.7. Have a 100k supplemental warranty from Ford so hoping when the radiator goes it will be covered.

Always glad to help spend other peoples monies so here you go ...

If (and when) I upgrade my tow vehicle I'll be looking to spend $1K on a better fifth wheel hitch (https://www.etrailer.com/5w-2018_For...-21000_lbs_GTW) and adding some DuraFlaps ($300) (https://duraflap.com/).

I would invest that $2500 in something that will actually make some money. I plan to keep mine stock. I would however, consider putting that money into a nice topper.

Air bags. Even my 450 sags a little with the Vengeance hooked up. Its not bad but I hate sag, period. But I have yet to have them put on this truck. My last two Super Duties had them but I just haven't had the time for this one.

I know you aren't ready, but it's money well spent.

Not true performance related item, but a Titan fuel tank to increase fuel capacity.

Yes! Thant is the biggest deficit that these trucks have.

On my personal vehicle, I'm thinking on upgrading to a '15 turbo before mine goes out, however mines an '11 and are more prone to failure. I think model year '13 and up turbos are more reliable.

The 6.7 don't really have exhaust manifolds you can replace with headers. The airflow is reversed on the 6.7. On most typical V8/V6/V10 engines, gas and diesel, the air flows from the center down through the heads and comes out at the bottom of the head. The 6.7 feeds the air from the bottom through the head to exit in the center where the turbo is located. The valve covers on the 6.7 are part of the air intake. The exhaust from the heads powder the turbo and one it exits the turbo goes through the down pipe to the Cat and DPF as it exits the exhaust system

These trucks have an extremely efficient head design. No need for that stuff unless you are seeking huge power (built engine, pumps, and chargers).

Extra fuel means more weight in the truck.
I would put better speakers and maybe a amp.
A lot of this depends on the trim level of your truck.
Changing out the radio may be a problem because in the higher trim levels the controls for the seats and such are integrated into the radio.
I would like different wheels not bigger but different.
I would like a front bumper to protect the front of my truck from hitting a deer. I hit one with my Durango and deer 1 Durango 0
