itís pretty much a cheap Chinesium one like yours. The decal is patterned off the Lincoln one, I got a local decal place to make and size it for me. Cost about 20 bucks. Theyíre pretty good to me there.

They did a nice job on the decal. While I didn't comment on your use of LED lighting before, I must say I do like how you've blended the old technology with new. Way to apply a creative idea through to execution! Kudos.

Thanks. I like to try to stay current but keep a period correct feel.
I went digital with the tach and clock for practical reasons, but was inspired to find out Ford did offer a digital radio in those years so I thought I was on safe ground.
Your comments are greatly appreciated. I used the green goblin to bring a special wheelchair to my brother today in the hospital (stage 4 cancer) and your comment has brightened my evening.

That's a hard one. He's very lucky to have you there to support him. It's not the same thing but I was with my sister a year ago last August when she passed in the hospital due to complications from a surgery. It was the toughest thing but I know it meant everything to her to have the family there. Hang in there and keep on posting your Green Goblin mods.

Starting to see this is a good way to log or just plain remember things that we do to our trucks.
I can list it now and go into detail later if I can remember why/how/when I did whatever work.

Timing chain
water pump
hoses
distributor
power steering gearbox rebuild
carburetor
intake
fix po wire hack and slash stupidity job (radio grounded through dash lights)
light switch
over 50 feet of wire removed
new dash bezel
leds
radio
info center
seats
console and glovebox keyed alike (best Ford part sort of interchange there)
Amp gauge to volt gauge
rear view camera in mirror
70ís-80ís GM windshield washer bottle makes perfect overflow tank for Ford radiator
underhood lighting
dual exhaust Flowmasters Headman headers
mudflaps
halo headlights
window and door seals
lit the glove box
lit the ashtray
light the cig lighter
rebuilt front end with new bushings, draglink, tie rods, everything but kingpins.
Fuel pump
3g alternator
3d printed....box rail end caps, radio bezel, info center, underseat led light mounts.
new repro dash bezel with ac vent.
Steering wheel

probably next
usb/power point mounted in console
cupholders integrated somehow with console
underdash LEDs
new headliner maybe, if I can find material that looks good.

If and when I ever get around to refreshing paint and bodywork....
relocate fuel fills and close up current ones. Fill holes for western swingout mirrors and go with something smaller. Fill the stupid holes of the po, (the hideous hood lights!)

This site is an amazing source of inspiration for info and mods on these trucks.

Cupholders

Gaping hole at front of console after installing in the truck. Cup holder space!

Printing.

Finished product.

Lighting in.

Light test works.

In and lighted.
Got around to making cup holders to match the console put in from that Lincoln. After fitting the console, I found I had a hole at the front of it. Looked like a good spot for cup holders so I got to work printing a set. A few revisions of the design and a long print later I have my lighted cup holders. I had made mounting holes in the bottom of the cup holders for self tapping screws, but after installing I found that between the carpet and the downward pressure from the console, I didnít need them. Fewer holes the better.

Got power points installed. Now I just need to find another led to eliminate the last remaining incandescent.
