1970 f250 CV swap

Alrighty folks. I have a 1970 f250 camper special that I acquired for free. Has a 428, 4 speed, AC, zero dents or rust, great paint etc. It is a 2wd and I would like to hear thoughts on how well a Crown Vic front end swap would go on a 3/4 ton? I would end up swapping the rear end too, for it would make no sense to have 2 different lug patterns. What say ye?

I have a '69 F250 that I have done the CV swap on. See the link in my sig to my YouTube channel. It's the same process on the 3/4 as it is 1/2 ton trucks. I have done the swap to both. I'm building my truck as a driver and intend on driving it a lot, so the CV was a great was to go. Off the shelf parts and I can replace the whole system with just four bolts if needed.

I've made mine a short bed too, but I'm keeping the F250 badges. That ought to make for some interesting conversations. Any plans on what you're swapping the rear out to? There are a few options, but I did a 2000 Explorer rear.

One last thing, if you CV swap it, you'll need the front end from 2003-2011 Crown Vic or Marquis. The earlier years will not work as you intend.

I'd keep it an eight-lug thug and build a lowered dually!!... It would make for an awesome tow rig.

This was my other thought. Perhaps not a dually but I would kinda like to keep the 8 lug setup. What's the best way to lower these? I am used to lifting things up, rather than dropping them down.
