powering down the EPAS system

Just picked up our '18 F150 and got an Auto Spring leveling kit coming. It's been a few years since I installed the kit on our previous '12 and need a refresher on what the proper procedure is for powering down the EPAS system to prevent damage from disassembling the front end. Is disconnecting the battery enough or is there more that needs to be done?

I believe that’s all you need to do (disconnect battery) , but I’d confirm that t be 100% accurate. My epas failed recently and put me back about 1,600 for rack, install labor, alinement and module flash.

Disconnect the battery but don't pre-program any settings or you'll be having to re-set them again.

Thanks guys. Only re programing we'll have to do is the radio which isn't a big deal, we don't program any of the My Key or other features like that.
