Bump Fender Identification

I am a new member to the site, but i have read a lot on here for some time now. A while back, I came across a posting from from 2014 on "prerunners"...

https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=...31232449623957

...where Coastal68 posted a pic of a blue bump with some "prerunner" fenders. Not trying to build a prerunner, but I have been trying to find what they are called and where they are from. Just trying to locate them to possibly buy for my 71 4x4 project. Any help would be great. Thanks!

wicolli3 you might want to check with a company in San Diego CA. their name is AutoFab. if i remember right at one time they made a pre- runner kit for these trucks. i know you said that you do not want a pre-runner, but they might be able to help you out with the fenders.

Thanks lilorbie! I will check them out. I'm not trying to build a true prerunner, but it is a 4x4, and I like the aggressive look of these fenders. These fenders really work well with the direction of my build.

Checked with AutoFab out of San Diego and talked with one of their reps. They don't have the fenders. The hunt continues...

wicolli3 i don,t know if this will help or not. you need to get on you-tube and type in thecraig909. he has a friend who does a lot of custom fiberglass work for the Baja crowd. he just posted a video yesterday showing all of the molds that they have . not sure about F-100 stuff. but he has a i think the year is a 71 F-100. maybe they could use his fenders for a mold.? all they can say is no.

Did anybody notice what this F-100 is wearing upfront? It is a 80-96 TTB Dana 44 so it could be an option for those who want a 4wd. The axle is wider so you would need large fender flares or fiberglass fenders. You might be able to use Chevy 55-59 step side fenders for the rear as fender flares. If an F-250, you would have to change the knuckles to an 8 lug. And you would have to get a wider rear axle also which wouldn't be bad.
