So to eat even more crow than my bad math earlier, I opened my hood up today and realized that the circuit I had the 15a fuse in wasnt even the GP circuit. Obviously I haven't paid it much attention...

And curiosity got me going so I hooked up my 100A ammeter clamp to one wire feeding the GP's and under 3 seconds of "on" timeit said OL for overload. So well over 200A for both wires together for certain, at least to start the day at 70* ambient.

These are the breakers I have used before, but if you use a fuse a 200 amp would be better. I have seen many people use the AMG type fuses in the 200 amp with no issues. I just prefer the breaker because if it trips you just reset it but if the fuse blows you got to get the idiot's at the parts counter to find you another one with out the computer and a a specific application

I found out where the wires after shorting out. Up by the engine harness connector, the wire rubbed against the metal ac lines. It was sparking when I was pulling my oil dipstick. Fixed it with insulation and electrical tape. Then put in new fusible wire near the solenoid.
