How difficult to put a 6.0L into a 2004 Ford F150 with blown 5.4L when I have a good running 6.0L?

I have a 2004 Ford F150 crew cab Lariat relatively clean with 200K on it and the timing cover broke and chain jumped and motor is probably junk.

I have a 2003 Ford F350 with good motor, good trans, 4 wheel drive.....It is completely stock with stock EGR and only has 126K miles.

I am actually selling both....The 2004 F150 will be sold eventually and I have a little over $2000 in it.

The 2003 F350 6.0L I can't give away. It is a single cab long bed with some rust. Started at $5995 and lowered to $4995 and still only showed it 1 time to a window shopper. Has 125K miles on it and blue book is over $10,000 lol. I don't want to lower price anymore cause that would be robbery. They go for $4500 with 500K miles on them lol.

So thought crossed my mind of putting a 125K mile 6.0L trans and engine in a 2004 Ford F150 crew cab Lariat. Should be able to get at least $9000 as it would be "custom" and pretty sweet.

I have a decent mechanic but if it involves many complexities then probably be too much of a headache and time consuming for him to attempt. If it is basically pull out and reinstall then I think I would love to do this F150 to a 6.0L conversion.

Thoughts? And difficulty? And complexity?

I don't know if it would physically fit but a swap at a shop is a bad idea. Far too complex with no clear end to the project, too many details, too many loose ends. Just my opinion but that is my vote.

that is a nightmare just thinking about it. you are talking two completely different body styles. so you will have to adapt the diesel wiring harness, dash, fuel system, and computer to a gas engine truck that none of the parts are compatible too.
then you will have the nightmare of weaker suspension and frame to deal with on the 150.

not worth it in my opinion.
