$3000 PCO and Ordered new 2019

I just left the dealership. I got a trade in offer for my 17 F350 but I'm waiting for the used car manager to come in tomorrow to see if he will bump the trade in offer for my 2017 F350 Lariat

If rebates change and you want to use the new rebates you will loose the $3,000 PCO

Hmmm, I talked to my dealer and he said no PCO on orders since by the time it arrives, the date is already expired. The wording on the offer also says “take stock from dealers” of something of that sort.

How much the trade-in offer for yours for? I’m thinking about trading in too but last time the dealer’s offer was $5k lower than what I sold it for.

We are negotiating the trade in now. Negotiation just started.

They offered me $53k. I paid $63k for it 16 months ago and it will have 20,000 miles on it by the time the new truck arrives. . I expect the trade in offer to get up to $55k tomorrow. If it does I’ll have them push the order button. They are running against the 7/9 PCO expiration clock

I told them they have to move my bug deflector and my bed cover to the new truck as part of the trade.

I have a ding (dime sized hole) over the right tailight from backing into the 5th wheel pin box which will affect the trade in value. It will also have about 20,000 miles on it by the time the 2019 arrives.

If the trade in value doesn’t come up tomorrow then there are 12 other Ford dealers within 35 miles.

Trading it in saves me about $3000 in sales tax.

$10k after 14 months & 20k miles is not bad bad I think.

Im still pondering how to be sure about getting the $3k PCO to be applied to the Order when your dealer keeps saying it’s not applicable.

I bought my ‘17 only 7 months at 20k miles and I’m so ready to switch to DRW.

Check with other dealers. I checked with 2 and both had no issue putting in writing the $3000 PCO would apply to an ordered truck.

Another trick to save money, consider a asking a dealer to do a courtesy sale of your traded in truck. I did that when I traded in my 2016 F150XLT and bought my 2017 F350. I found someone willing to pay more than the trade in offer. We both went to the dealership and the dealer did paperwork for both cars. My old car was traded and immediately sold to the new buyer at the price he and I negotiated. That way I only paid sales tax on the difference. The dealer charged $100 to do the paperwork.

Hai Nhi,

When my dealer checked eligible rebates for ordered trucks the PCO was eligible as was another $500 rebate. There is a special Military Appreciation Rebate for $1000 that expires 7/9 that was not eligible for ordered cars.

Because dealers can lock in whatever rebates are available at time of order.

I just set up an order for a 19 SCLB Platinum with the PCO $3K and an additional $500. They wouldn't allow a price lock with the military $1000 thats available. They were trying to get me to settle on an 18 but rebate was only 500 difference plus in eastern New Mexico Long Boxes are no where to be found.

It must depend on the state. Here in backwoods Arkansas, you can do a private sale and still get the sales tax credit as long as it’s within 45 days of buying the new truck. Just did that for my 18 and I was sweating it a little ‘cause I was running up against that 45 days but a guy showed up with a big sack of $100 bills and drove away with it. Whew!

I'm not seeing any updated offers past the 7/9/18 date at this time. The current offer is still listed but YMMV. I'll check back every couple of days to see if anything replacement wise pops up.

Private Cash Offer. Some folks were lucky enough to be selected by Ford and sent these privately.
