Retrofitting halos

1997 f150. Want to remove stick lamp reflector. Put in a projector and put halos around it. Ideas?

Why not just get these? I have these exact ones on my Expedition and they work really well. The only downside is that they're kind of a PITA to replace bulbs on, due to exposing the design flaws in Ford's mounting setup for the housings. Low beam on them is a H3 fog light bulb, which don't last very long from my experience. I have one burnt out right now and haven't had the motivation to mess with it. Been too swamped with other projects. Maybe some high power LEDs would help.

Try checking eBay for a used set, I paid $50 shipped for mine with some superficial scratches.

I want custom. I was also wondering if I could take a projector housing out of a car at the junkyard. Pull it out. Modify it to go in the ford housing?
