Rear vent issues '02 ford expedition

My front vents work, air and heat. My back vents blow, but not what they should. Currently blowing hot when I have the air on. And during the winter when I tried to use heat it only blew out cool. My dials are in the correct position in the front and back.

it wasn't a huge issue in late winter because the front vent heat worked well enough to warm the whole vehicle in a timely manner. But in 90+ degrees air coming from only the front isn't good enough for my kids in the back.

Travis S is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
Temperature Blend Door Actuators are failing. It's a relatively cheap part, but actually getting to them is about as much fun as giving yourself a bath the same way a cat does...
