Morning Jim.
Thanks Ken. I'll try to remember to post pics...haven't put many of them on here from the events I've been to this year so far.

Morning Neil.
Driveline shop wasted no time - already have my driveshaft back together. I didn't get the joint seated quite right, which is why it sprung back apart. He cleaned all the snap ring grooves out properly and reseated everything, so it should be all set now. Cheap, too...

You definitely can not pass that up.
Do you remember off the top of your head who did the retro fits of your projector headlights? The set of aftermarkets that I got are having an issue with not switching to hi beam every time and I am working with the manufacture on resolving the issue, but I want to cover my bases.

The lights themselves were built by a friend in California, but I believe all of the stuff he used is Morimoto. I'd have to check when I get home.

Okay. I have looked at The Retrofit Source's website and they do not do the retros themselves, they sell the parts. If I have to go that route, I do not want to butcher the heck out of them and have nothing but scrap. The manufacturer of the ones that I got believe the issue is in the wiring harness. They sent me new ones priority mail Thursday and they have not showed up yet, today's mail has not been delivered. Due to the potential of the harnesses being lost in the mail, they offered to send me a replacement set of head lights, but they only have one set in stock and they are damaged. They offered to substitute the black ones that I have with the chrome version, which is what I got away from by replacing the OE headlights. Waiting for a reply back to see if they are getting more in or is it a discontinued item. May change to a separate hi/lo projector setup, but they have all of the LED's in them or even a single projector that has the C bar LED tube, neither are my preference.

This is what I have now.
Option 1, these were my second choice. Same as what I bought except the addition of the fiber optic C bar light.
Option 2. These are okay, just not sure about the overall look of them.

hi guys.
I've had it with this truck. I finally get it back. I look underneath and he actually did replace a bunch of the rust with new metal, so i was pretty happy about that. it wasn't welded (just screwed into place), but it's a start, and i think a welding person could probably take it from there. there's even enough metal to attach the new cab mounts. I thought "well, better than nothing".
So I try to drive it, and it doesn't go anywhere. I look underneath and there's a mixture of transmission fluid and anti-freeze. I had to add a full gallon of coolant, and almost two quarts of transmission fluid. Then I tighten up the bolts to the pan, which were a bit loose. I use the truck to go get a new bed, and it ran fine. I park it, but to be safe, I put a big piece of cardboard under the truck. It's soaked with transmission fluid now. I'm at the end here.
Sorry for the venting. I'm just frustrated.
