Hi All I have a mate with A 1953 F100
fitted with 272 Y Block been told from a 55 mercury car.
has a auto transmission with code AZ 7003 C2 108-111-908

Looking for a starter motor any ideas please

B5C-11002-A = Same 6V starter: 1954/55 Ford/Merc Passenger Cars & F100/600 I-6 & Y block; 1955 Thunderbird 272/292.

 

I think I might have a spare sitting around somewhere. Not 100% sure if it works but that wouldn't be hard to check and rebuilding it wouldn't be the end of the world.
