4R70W planetary gear set to carrier

Is there a MINIMUM end play spec for the planetary gear set to carrier wall?
I'm rebuilding my 1997 trans and am hearing the end play max is .030. Anymore than that and I'm hearing the ENTIRE planetary assembly is to be REPLACED.
I'm getting as much as .050.

We build these all the time, I wouldn't worry about that clearance, these never fail due to that, I would just run it you won't have any issues.

Ok, I'll reuse it. Actually, one gear clearance is over .050 but the other right next to it is under .03 so maybe you don't have to measure the one.
