Replacing rear tank 1997 f350 4x4 460

Just picked up the truck and the previous owner says the rear pump has not worked in years. The whole truck has been neglected so I am thinking of just replacing the tank. I found this set at rock auto https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/ford,1997,f350,7.5l+v8,1127102,fuel+&+air,fuel+tan k+&+pump+assembly,17130 . Is there anything else I will need to tackle this or is this everything so that I will have two working tanks?

Wow, that one hell of a deal!!.

You will need the quick connect fuel tool.Other than that is it pretty much straight forward

In my opinion a rolled up strip of aluminum flashing (beer can will work in a pinch) wrapped around the line is more novice friendly than the disconnect tool because you can feel it disengage the clips (this method works on the fuel rail fittings too).

Anyone who's never worked with fuel/AC fittings like the before should do it this way the first few times before you buy the tools because sooner or later you wind up needing to disconnect these kinds of fittings without having the tool around.

Thanks for the input. I ordered the tank and it will be here in a few days so we will see how it goes. Should be a week or two before I have time to put it in.
