2013 f250 6.2 PCV valve issues

Hello all! Thought I'd start a thread to document what's been going on with my 2013 f250, havent got a chance to update my signature, so it's a 2013 f250 XL standard cab long bed with a utility body. Truck was worked on by a bunch of incompetent mechanics so it's back to me fixing it. Not sure if Jiffy Lube or the other mechanic messed up on the PCV but here is the pic of the one I pulled out of it . As you can see in the picture, there is nothing in it! I've been getting lean codes on both banks and a P0456 code, hoping the lean codes go away now as I think the other code is a separate issue, what do you guys think?

Same issue with my 2016. I replaced the o2 sensors with no change. I pulled out the pcv valve and it had the guts missing. I replaced it and instantly heard a weird noise like a vacuum/ air sound. I still hear it at idle with my check engine light on. Did you have any issues after replacing yours? Or did it get solved?

Also answered you in the 99-16 thread. There are two PCV valves, one in each valve cover, not just the one you can see on the driver's side.

The factory PCV valves in my 2013 looked identical to the one in the photo above, hollow tubes. I put them back in and returned the Motorcraft replacements that I had bought.

Either the wrong part was installed or ford changed the pcv setup for 2016. The stock pcv on the passenger side is the brown one and has a valve in it part number 7L3Z-6A666-A. The black hollow breather tube is on the driver side, ford calls this a pcv elbow its part number 4L2Z-6762-AA . if your truck is running fine its not a huge deal if the hollow tube is there on both sides.

they are also different sizes
