I spent all week installing a new wire harness. It was a universal harness from "Painless". I was a bit surprised that the original harness didn't have any fused protection... the new one will be much better. I also have the new instrument panel installed (from Classic Instruments). I like how it looks like it could have been factory installed!

That Truck Looks awesome. I saw "Project" in the thread title and then saw the first picture hahaha. The body certainly isn't a project! Keep it up!

Thanks guys for the encouragement. It has been over 19 years since this truck has been on the road, and I am eager to do so.

I installed a new shifter built by Lokar. I decided to upgrade it because the old one didnít have a neutral safety switch.

i must admit... this Lokar unit is very nice quality! I like that it is transmission mounted (rather than floor mounted). It has a nice solid feel, and the finish is excellent.
