While my build is nearing completion, I find that the original chrome headliner trim is rusted beyond repair for my 68 Ranger. I Don't believe anyone reproduces it and was wondering if anyone had a Parts truck with nice chrome trim they would be willing to sell? My only other option is to sandblast the trim and paint it but would really like to have chrome trim to go along with the rest of the interior. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This might sound funny but make sure it's rust and not smoke tar....Here is my post about it https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...2002-a-16.html I never did anything with mine for years because I thought it was rusted beyond repair and was going to have to sand and paint as well. I was cleaning the inside of my cab and by chance I got over-spray of the cleaner I was using on the trim and what I thought was rust wiped right off. I know it might be a long shot but it's worth a try. I pulled all my trim and went crazy cleaning it after I discovered it wasn't rusty. Anyway good luck hopefully you get as lucky as I did. The cleaner was "Black Magic Bleche Wite tire cleaner.
