Wheel well liner fasteners

I just bought by first diesel truck, a 2000 F250 with the 7.3. It needs a few things to get it where I want it, including attaching the front driver's side wheel well liner. IIhave the liner, but the previous owner lost all of the fasteners to attach it. I already called Ford and they told me that they cannot get them any more due to the age. I've been reading all over this forum before, during, and after my purchase and I absolutely love the atmosphere here. So I'm hoping someone can help a new guy out here and tell me the best way to get these fasteners or an alternative.

the dorman Help section in like autozone/advance and places like that will have the tree pins that hold them in... the little screws on the outer lips are small i cant remember off the top of my head what they were but have had to replace them a couple times as well. i found the screws at lowes.. just basically took one off and ran inside with it to match it up...

Your best bet would probably be to go to your local junkyard/pick n pull and find one that has all the fasteners. I got lucky and found 2 pristine wheel well liners with all fasteners for the front of mine at my local junkyard when I hacked up the original ones to try and fit bigger tires (tires still didnít fit btw )

Hope this helps and welcome to the forum

Wow, thank you. I kind of feel like an idiot not thinking of going to the junk yard! I'm assuming the fasteners are the same for 99-2008?

99-04 should be identical. 05-07 should be the same, but Iím not 100% sure since ford changed some things on those trucks (front suspension, grille, bumper, headlights.) 08 probably not as the body style changed quite a bit that year.

All of the above sources, plus Ace Hardware for various screws.

And welcome to FTE!
