Connect. My sons F150 can remote start from phone.
I currently have a Nissan Maxima with this feature. It is pretty cool but the subscription that is required for it to work is CRAZY EXPENSIVE. When the trial period ended that was the end of that. Still has remote start on the key fob but it sure was neat with the phone because you did not have to have line of sight.
Any word on IFS? Other than improving 'the ride' are there any benefits and any plans by ford to implement or make an option? I had a buddy buy a new Duramax and that sucker really rides nicely. I cringed when I admitted it to him.

See that is strange. Unless something has changed I’ve had multiple experiences with Duramaxs from 2007-2015 and actually felt they were a stiffer a ride. Plus a friend of mine and Nebraska went from a 2013 F250 to 2016 2500 Duramax and tell me the same thing. He kept it for year and a half and now I just bought a 2018 F250. I’m like you one with think independent front suspension should ride better but honestly that’s not been my experience at all and I’m not sure why. My local diesel mechanic that works on both told me it’s because GM has to use very heavy front spring rates to stabilize heavy loads when towing. The early Duramax’s had lighter front springs thus rode better but when towing heavy they tended to porpoise front to back. This kinda feels like being on a boat and going over waves in the ocean and is one of the main reasons Ford and Ram won’t change the front design IFS. Anyway I’m getting ready to buy another truck and I’ll test drive another 2500 just for kicks.

So, your asking for people that place a "nice ride" over capability.....they are out there, they buy chevy's everyday....
Well, I guess that was part of my question. Other than a potential nicer ride, are there any other advantages or disadvantages. I guess you're saying capability goes down with IFS? I didn't know that. Thanks for letting me know.

Solid front axle is much stronger than IFS (which uses an aluminum linkage, usually) and easier to maintain and repair.
