Just got a smittybilt Beaver step. Plan is to keep it up front to use as a step and move it around back if I need to use a recovery strap or a chain. Looks decent. Need to pick up a u-bolt to keep it from rattling. Looks good. Sadly a China product.

On my girlfriend's Lexus rx350, I used a folded up piece of cardboard when I was trying to replace the coils on the back side of the engine and that worked great. Allowed me to lay across it without everything poking me all over the place.

When I replaced the turbo and everything else for it on my 97 F250, I used an old patio chair cushions and laid across the top of my engine. That truck had a 6" lift too so I had to use a step ladder as well. I slipped off of it once after it rained and somehow avoided the hospital.

Ive never seen or heard of a topside creeper until this post. I know what I'm asking for for Christmas this year now!
