1964 Mercury M100 Long Box Chassis Upgrade??
Hi fellas, I have my Dad's 1964 Mercury M100 Long Box truck sitting in my yard and I'm wanting to begin a restoration. Is there a modern chassis out there that would be near a bolt on application that would provide me with a more reliable drive train and more comfortable suspension? Thank you in advance! I appreciate your time.

Hello Ernie, you'll also have to decide if you're going for a stock ride height or a lowered look. If lowered the way to go in my opinion is a Crown Vic conversion. There are a lot of Youtube channels showing how to do this. You can do a full frame swap or jut the suspension swap which is the way I'm doing it.
I happen to have a '64 F100 and that's the way I'm going. I feel lucky to have a '64 mainly because I can leave the front cross member in place for the conversion, other years it has to be removed.
If you care to take a look here's my channel. ~Pat
