Thumbs up Question about wheel fitment on a 1975 F100

Hi guys just wanted to say I'm new here and hope to be able to contribute lots!!! Names flappy and im 38 from Pittsburgh PA!!!!
GO PENS/STEELERS!!!!

I just won a 75 f-100 2-wd on e-bay and it has aftermarket wheels on it, i found a set of 15 inch 1972 stocker steelies, my question is will they work on my 1975? I'm trying to make it as close to stock as possible and the prices everywhere else for these steelies is ridiculous. So i would like to grab these ones! thanks in advance!!

:edit: finally here is the picture, will take more at a later date!

I'm thinking they are the same. Buy them and if they don't fit, resale them.

And welcome to FTE!

Yeah these old trucks only had 3 gears in the auto trans. Manuals were 4 speed.

Thank you good sir!!! I was wondering, cause i was driving down the road and it seemed like the truck would NEVER shift, lol I thought the trans was wonkly!!!

Congrats on the shiny new truck.

There are three things that come to mind when an auto misbehaves. Fluid level and quality, kick down linkage and vacuum modulator. These are pretty easy to check. Fluid should be between the marks when warmed up with the engine running and transmission in Park. It should be reddish and not smell burnt. The vacuum modulator hose should be connected at both ends. Fluid should not come out of the modulator when you pull the hose off. I forget the exact method for setting the kick down linkage but think it should pull on the rod going to the transmission at WOT.
