5.0 to 5.8 efi swap

Hey guys I have an 86 Bronco that currently has a wore out 5.0 in it. I found a deal on a 5.8 out of a 91 F250. First question is will the harness on the 5.0 fit on the new engine? Second question is the new engine has a serp belt set up, which I’d like to keep, so the ac compressor is different. What hoses would I need to hook it up or would I have to have custom hoses made... and last of all.. with ac and no smog pump on the engine, does anyone know what belt I need?

the harness might work, I know 85/86 were the first 2yrs of ford efi on the broncos and the wiring pin out an so forth are different then 87+. the 5.0 computer wont run that motor very well so a complete wiring swap may be necessary or a fivology mass air swap being the better idea down the road perhaps. i have no idea regarding the other questions you have. good luck and take pics, this is a great swap though so don't get to discouraged.

You need to use the 5.0 engine harness regardless so you will have to make it work by substituting parts from the 5.0 where necessary, but those substitutions will be minimal.
