Like I said theres A's and B's. Didn't figure out what that meant until after everything was put back together. I'm guessing they are slightly different and on some wheels I remember having to put them on backwards, but theoretically that shouldn't matter. This one is the only one to have problems, and when I get the gumption I'll take all of them off and compare and put back accordingly. I honestly have no clue how I didn't notice this, I remember checking each one for rubbing before I put the wheels on.

Ok I think I may have found the problem. I jacked up the rear end and put jackstands under it and blocked the front wheels and had my brother hold the speed as 45 MPH, where it vibrates the worst. I watched the driveshaft and could see the rear half vibrate a bit, then looked at the front half and it looked like it was sitting idle, perfectly straight. So I'm guessing the rear shaft wobbling is the problem? I'm currently uploading a video, I'll post it when it's done.

Been a while since I did an update, but I was able to find a driveshaft at a salvage yard for $150, and that did nothing, the vibration seems to come on a couple MPH later but honestly that's pure speculation. It does feel like it's getting worse. So either that driveshaft has a problem too or something else is bad. Are rear diff input shafts problems on these? I'm running out of ideas here. This wouldn't be a bad rear wheel bearing would it?

I did get a hold of a driveline business that said they would check the shaft for me for pretty cheap, so in going to have them do that and I'll go from there.

Problem solved! I picked up the shafts last night and the guy said the carrier bearing was pretty bad, even though it was basically new. The shaft was out of balance a bit as well. I installed everything and went for a drive and it's smooth as butter now! Thanks to all of you for your input on this issue!

For sure! If I never had it checked, I probably never would have even thought about replacing the carrier again, and would have never fixed the issue. And to boot it was very affordable, $160 for checking, balancing, a new u joint and a new carrier and they even shot it with paint! Shout-out to Minnesota Driveline in Waite Park, if any of you in the central MN area need driveshaft stuff done give them a call!

Ok so it's been a while since I posted here (as usual), been busy lately working on the truck, and life of course. I also have a road trip coming up and will be taking the old 7.3. So I guess things are getting done faster than I expected on the truck, which is good, just hard on the wallet. I acquired a set of ISSPRO Performax gauges (EGT, trans temp, boost) which were recently installed, and I'm very happy with them. Also I got a good deal on a Truxedo tonneu cover, and I'm loving that thing as well. Today I dropped the tank to replace the pickup screen and clean the other screens, only to find out they were pretty much new and nice and clean, but I replaced and cleaned anyway. Another thing I did, as I am taking a trip in the middle of winter from Minnesota to Indiana, and as I work in a metal fabrication shop was tacking a couple of 1/4" plates together and setting them in the bed. If I figured right they should weigh about 600 pounds, that should give me some traction and still have space in the bed without worrying about something heavy smashing into the actual cargo that will be back there. I also bought a cold front cover, which is nice in cold temps.
And here's some pics:
