Mine drains from front and back of the pan and its really hard to clean up the back portion. And this particular truck has the skid plate with hole in it for the rear oil filter drain. I guess i get the issue because im a snob and change it on my two post lift which levels the truck and it drains out front and back of the filter drain diverter. First change on this truck i damned it up with an old shirt but there was a pool that built up and released after i removed the shirt.

i guess ive been spoiled by my easy to change diesels and inline 6’s with not making a mess
