Air Suspension compressor not turning after shocks replacement

Rear shocks were changed by independent shop on my 2012 Navigator L. Suspension is not raising. Mechanic towed it to Quick lane auto for calibration but compressor is not kicking in. No issues before the shocks change. Any ideas? Mechanic did turn the air suspension off before changing shocks.

Well, did he turn them back on afterwards?

Yes he did. Can low battery cause it?

Maybe the new shocks have raised it up so it’s not calling for compressor air?

Shocks are OEM motorcraft shocks. The rear is low and air bags are deflated.

Quick Lane diagnosed bad compressor. I have ordered Arnott compressor. I find it strange that there was no issue before and compressor failed right after shock replacement.

Update:

Indy used Matco Tools scanner and was able to turn the compressor on and solenoids on and off. He saw a bunch of codes related to low battery and charging system. Alternator and battery were replaced a week ago. He is saying that alternator is under charging. I am taking it to dealer on monday for diagnostic. For now I have disabled the air suspension.

The compressor is disabled during low voltage conditions. I guess they figure it's better to have available power for the ignition system instead of the air suspension.

Update:
Have the alternator and battery tested at Autozone and both tested ok. I will still take it to dealer to diagnose charging system.

Indy put air in both rear springs before disconnecting solenoids. Passenger side rear has dropped half an inch in 24 hours. Can I replace just one air spring or do they have to be in pairs. I am looking to replace with Arnott air spring.

Lincoln dealer diagnosed leak on rear driver side. They put new Arnott Air spring but driver side rear is still leaking. They suspect bad strut mount and ordered a new strut mount.

What a nightmare. So for replaced shocks, replaced rear air spring, ordered new air compressor and strut mount.

Update:

Truck is fixed. The indy shop did not put seals for air spring. Compressor is ok. It was not raising due to leak. Lincoln installed Arnott air spring (comes with seals) and strut mount.

Lincoln diagnosed bad alternator. Alternator replaced under warranty by shop that installed it.
