Well, so far I have gotten it all back together save for bolting on the accessories, and bleeding the fuel lines.

Guess we'll see soon enough if the Great White Buffalo lives again; or died off.

Got the fuel lines sorted out, and ready to bleed. Found the reason for the whole issue to begin with, was some issues with the Fuel Shutoff Solenoid, etc grounding out.

Cleaned the inside of the Great White Buffalo and used some dressing. Definitely looks better.

since you have a 5 speed, you do not need the VRV on the injector pump. if it is still good, that thing is made out of unobtanium and will bring real good money on evilbay!!

I'd love to take it off for spacial reasons, but don't know exactly what needs to be done.

To my knowledge it's in working order, the original C6 died and they simply swapped it to a 5 speed.

carefully remove the two vacuum lines, capping off the one going to the vacuum tree, the one going to the trans you can get rid of.
the VRV is held to the injector pump with two small bolts. ... i want to say 10 mm, one two oclock, and one seven oclock.

Got the truck to run and shutoff correctly today; now to fix the issue of it losing prime.

And get the wipers working correctly.

Fired the old girl up, drove about a 1/8 mile and turned, then backed her in.

Runs great, minus the small priming issue.

Looks like there's some serious hillbilly shlt going on in that photo. The angle of the camera makes the gigantic bed camper hilarious.

Looks good.

Nothing like a bath to make everything all better. Other than the Calipers sticking a little, she runs great again!
