Getting my CTS 2 delivered tomorrow

What Pids are you guys watching on you monitors on the 17+ 6.7’s?

I come from two 6.0’s and we had to watch EVERYTHING!

What EGT sensors to watch for passive Regen?

I guess I’m looking to watch all the Regen stuff too.

Let me know,Thanks!!!

Make sure you connect to a computer and update the internal software of the CTS2.

This is what I monitor...

Is the DPF stat mean when it’s in Regen or not?

Heres mine. Really don’t need both egt1 and egt3, as egt3 is the pre-dpf temp.

yes. As long as you update to the latest version, it turns to “ON” when in regen

EGT 3 is DPF inlet, EGT4 is DPF outlet. Both of these are used by the he computer to monitor DPF health.
of course, you don’t have to monitor anything or change your driving style at all. The ‘17+ are designed for the driver to never have to change their driving style based on the truck. Not like it was on the 6.0, watching oil and water temps, delta temps, EGT, ficm volts, etc, and always wondering what would happen next. Yes, I monitor now out of habit, but don’t change driving style based on readings.

Thank you,Obviously I don’t have anything to monitor and with 950 miles on the truck you would have absolutely no idea this truck had emissions.Im enjoying it so much part of me said not to get the CTS and be like most if the world and just drive it blind.I bought it anyway just to see how the truck is reacting to my driving style.
