3. 4x4 - because i live tin the Midwest.
4. Platinum Ultimate - I wanted all the bells including a moon roof and massaging seats.
5. No FX4 - Dealer trade didnt have it and doesn’t bother me.
6. White Platnium - Didn’t want black like last truck. Love the color.
7. 3.55 Rear End - Becuase it handles my 15k 5er fine on my 17SRW. No 4.10 for me.
8. Tons a camera - Because i wanted too.
9. 5th Wheel Hitch Prep - See Point 1
10. goose neck prep package, see point 8
11. Roof clearance lights, don't want to be confused with a freakin' 1/2 ton.
12. Up fitter switches and bed liner, see point 8
13. 3.55 gears because that is the lowest I could get, I also run larger than stock tires.
14. Fx4 'cause I wanted the rear locker and skid plates
15. Block heater, supplemental heater - See point 3.
16. Factory wheels because i didnt have a choice. Get with it Ford on your DRW.

2018 F-350 6.2L 4.30’s w/locking diff, Magnetic Gray CCSB XLT premium 4x4, Center counsole, upfitter switches, remote start, led box lighting, 360* camera ultimate tow, skid plates, extra extra HD 240 amp alt.,duel battery’s, rear sliding window, A/T OWL tires, snow plow prep.

Old truck: 96 F250 XLT 7.3 Auto 4:10’s 4x4 360,000 miles...sold 5k to pay taxes and plates.

0rdered 1-25-18 delivered 4-10-18. Although I’ve had more rides then Six Flaggs, this was my first new vehicle purchase ever. I run production for a roofing company in the St. Louis area. We also plow snow for one of the major RR covering several of their yards, parking lots, inspection lanes etc.... I carry a 1.5 cubic yard salt spreader, and 8 ft weastern pro plow. For nine months out of the year a half ton truck would probably serve my needs. I only tow my 05’ Jeep LJ, 35’s 4’’ Lift Banks Turbo, locked F/R on a heavy steel deck 16’ car hauler. It’s probably a little over 6k. For supplying my own truck, and plowing with it. I get a $325 a month truck allowance, gas card, insurance paid year round, and I get paid a % off the top of our plow service for the RR. Even for the lots others plow. We had the second least snowiest year in history this year, and just in salting without ever laying down a blade I made 15k pre tax this winter. With the kind of situation I’m in it really made sense to bite the bullet and just order a new truck. I got almost everything I wanted, and nothing (except all the crome) that I didn’t. Sticker was 53,600 , out the door 48,800. Left money in the budget for Linex, Raptor steering wheel, Raptor running boards, husky floor liners, and lots of car care/wash supply’s including a ceramic coat on the paint. Really loving this truck. My payload is 4265 and with the new truck, I’ll be grabbing up one of our Prodigy plows and leaving the straight blade for one of the other crews next season. If I ever need to tow something this truck won’t tow I have full access to a spare 2015 XLT 6.7 srw f350 at work. I love the 6.7 for the power, but I couldn’t justify buying one. For me the smart play was the gas w/4:30’s. I’m very happy with this truck. It’s beautiful, and beastly.

2019 F350 CCSB on order....nationwide search over course of several months yielded nothing.
Magnetic- one of nicest colors.
350-it’s worth the extra $1200 or so IMO.
6.2- can’t justify the 6.7.This,at most will have 5000 miles in a year. Not taking chances with a diesel sitting around. I have a M1008 diesel cucv 5/4 ton pickup with 4.56 locker. Trust me, it will do 80-90% of what a new diesel will do. 3500# rocks in the bed barely makes a difference. It will only go 50mph though. Best of both worlds.
4.30 axle- the whole reason I couldn’t find one after a nationwide search. In the future, these will be highly sought after in the used market for those that tow. Also, the best advice on this forum from others before me..GET the 4.30 locking axle. Enough said.
Vinyl flooring-it just looks better.2 small children.
STX package, AT load E tires.Because it’s the best value, could not justify the extra chrome bits for the XLT.
Cloth seats. When they tear, I’ll just do Katskinz leather.
Aftermarket step bars and LineX. DEALER said aftermarket much better, thicker coverage of bed liner.
Sync 3, ult trailer camera package. *My options selection required me to have the combo*
Sirius. NO CD player, a stupid decision on Fords part. Guys in their 40’s and 50’s want CD players. That’s at least better than nothing.
LED box lighting, up fitter switch, clearance lights. For a small amt of $$, would rather have than not..
Manual shift on stop. I can still shift a lever , just like in my 86 pickup. Really? I want a real mans truck. No offense to someone that wants to turn a switch, there’s your type men out there, too.
These are just a few options...
