Our New 2018 F250 6.7!

Picked up our new 2018 6.7 Xlt blue jeans on 4/30, Wife and i used her on 2 trips,
what a comfortable beast! First trip was a 10k toy hauler 150 miles from home.
Next trip was to Canada fishing. The only thing that disappointed me was the first
trip we used a full tank of fuel! Coming from an 05 Excursion 6.0 with 44 gallon tank,
34 gallons wasn't going to be enough. So i had a titan 55 gallon fuel cell installed.
Now we can go over 700 miles unloaded, Up to 500 towing heavy! I've added a few
extra led lights and the seic mods.

Looks really nice. I am considering lights in the grille and under the back. What brand did you go with and did you have to cut/fabricate anything in the grille?
Bolt on kit? How did you connect them--upfitters or splice in to existing system? Do you have any pics or part numbers, where you got them, approx price or any advice for someone that is going to do something similar? Appreciate any info you can provide. I have a 2017 XLT Premium. Thanks

I used 3 of my uplifter switches for the led lights and 1 for the high idle mod.
Here is the single row led lights in the grill. I had to drill holes and use ss hardware.
I lowered the license plate for the lower one, i had a led left over from another project.
I had to fab an aluminum L bracket for the lower led light.

Thanks for the info. I had glanced at them on amazon but was not sure of the fitment in the grille. I like that look.

Good looking truck. I have essentially the identical truck but in Ruby Red. (My first 2017 was Blue Jeans). My biggest dislike is that the XLT grille looks too cheap...too much black. I'm thinking about upgrading to the Lariat grille which is all chrome...but I'm using those black areas at the end of the two horizontal grille bars as a place to mount my strobes. (See pic below)

Strobes are legal in your state?
Do you work along the road right of way?
These trucks have lots of room install
after market parts and install wires.

Strobes were a requirement for my commercial auto insurance policy on the truck since I plow snow. I've got another set discreetly mounted to my headache rack in the bed.

As a commercial electrician, I was working at shop that was installing these color changing led strobe lights on the highway dept trucks. They are able to change intensity color and timing. The tech claimed some of the settings were for law enforcement only.

With 2000 pounds of hitch weight and another 350 pounds of extra fuel how close are you to your max cargo capacity?

The extra 21 gallons weigh around 150 extra pounds, well worth it in my opinion! I don't know about the hitch weight?

I made small L bracket out of aluminum and used stainless steel.
I drilled small holes in the grill for the tie wraps to hold the wires.
