compatable seat years for a 2004?

I need a new seat, or a way to repair the foam in my current one. the left side of the drivers seat is worn down and flat from sliding in and out of the car all these years. my question is how many years are compatible with my 2004 that I can swap from a junkyard into mine. btw, not sue if it matters, but Mines the eddie bauer with the heated/full power seats.

I think any seat from a Gen III (2002-2005) Eddie Bauer would fit; finding one in good condition and the right color might be tough.

I feel confident enough to use my current seat leather on a new foam, I wonder if I can get just the lower seat foam as a replacement

I thought by your post you wanted to replace the seat; if you just want the foam replaced any decent auto/marine upholstery shop should be able to do that

well, if it would be cheaper to replace from a jy then I would, but if an upholstery shop can do it I'll call around. Heck even if I could just get the right foam, I'd be willing to carve it out and make my own.

Don't know if it matters, but...........if you go shopping for foam or turn the job over to a shop you might wanna mention the seat is heated, in case that calls for a certain kind of foam.

Hey guys, I'm back. I wonder if I can switch the foam padding from the drivers to passenger seat, the passenger isn't as broke down, and I seldom have any passengers these days.

If you have experience with re-upholstering, go for it.
