What would your thoughts on this be?

I noticed that some people mentioned the edelbrock performer cam specs where similar to summits cam specs. Which got me to thinking. I also looked at PAW's line of cams and they too had the exact same specs the difference is the paw cam is $49 the summit is $80 with lifters about the same as the PAW if you figure $30 for the PAW lifters the edelbrock is $140 with lifters. My first thought was stick to a name brand and go with it. The more I thought about it I realized summit probably has listed popular cam specs under their name obviously they sell every cam imaginable so they can tell what is selling and what is not so all they have to do is get a popular name brand cam spec it out and have it ground knock $60 off and call it summit brand, if the name brand companies aren't actually selling their cams this way through them by selling them the cam just letting them use their name. It is common in other businesses not related to automotive to acutally sell their product under a generic name to get a little extra money and in reality sell the same exact product just as mentioned with a generic name. So now I am thinking of looking into a summit cam as a real option unless everyone thinks maybe I am incorrect. What do you all think?

I just ordered a Summit cam K3500 for my 460 and the salesperson confirmed DW2455's comment that their cams are ground by Crane.

$86 bucks and some change, ( well not including shipping, but still less than a hundred ) what the heck. Thats money I can spend for something else.
